Overview

Agently’s WhatsApp Business API integration brings your most active customer channel into a fully unified inbox. Every message — text, audio notes, images, documents, templates, broadcasts, and interactive buttons — syncs instantly into Agently.

How it works

Once connected, Agently performs the following in real time:

  • Instant message syncing: All inbound WhatsApp messages appear instantly inside Agently.

  • Smart intent detection: AI classifies messages (pricing, complaint, order tracking, lead inquiry, verification, etc.).

  • Auto-routing: Conversations are assigned to the right team or agent based on rules you define.

  • Automations & templates:

    • Auto-responders

  • One-click replies: Your team can reply directly from Agently without touching WhatsApp.

Configure

Setup is straightforward:

  1. Admin connects WhatsApp Business API credentials (e.g., via Meta BSP like 360dialog, Twilio, etc.).

  2. Select which phone numbers should sync into Agently.

  3. Import or approve WhatsApp template messages.

  4. Set up routing rules (sales → team A, support → team B, VIP → priority inbox).

  5. Configure automation flows (welcome messages, follow-ups, order notifications, payment reminders, etc.).

  6. Enable AI reply settings and notification preferences for each team member.
