Agently’s n8n integration unlocks fully customizable, open-source automation for teams that want deeper control over how data moves across their stack. With n8n, you can build advanced workflows that shape, route, and enrich Agently data without relying on rigid third-party limits. Perfect for ops, support, and growth teams that need precision.

How it works

The integration uses Agently event triggers (new conversation, new message, sentiment update, tag added, workflow action, etc.) as starting points inside n8n.
From there, you can:

• Transform data using n8n’s code, logic, and function nodes

• Enrich information with external APIs

• Route messages into internal systems (CRM, BI dashboards, Slack alerts, etc.)

• Push updates back into Agently to adjust tags, workflows, or classifications

• Automate multi-step sequences like ticket creation → notifications → reporting

Every event can branch into conditional paths (IF/ELSE), run loops, or feed into databases for long-term storage — giving you complete control over the automation logic.

Configure

Connect Agently to n8n using your API credentials from the Agently dashboard.
Once connected:

1. Add the Agently node as a trigger in any workflow.

2. Use n8n’s visual builder to chain logic, conditions, and output actions.

3. Map custom fields, tags, or conversation metadata.

4. Test and activate your workflow.
