Overview

Agently’s Gmail integration turns your email inbox into a smart, automated, collaborative hub. Instead of switching tabs, forwarding threads, or losing context, emails become part of your customer communication ecosystem — tagged, categorized, and tracked automatically.

Teams can manage support tickets, sales follow-ups, and operational workflows directly from Agently.

How it works

When Gmail is integrated:

  • Inbound emails appear instantly inside the Agently inbox with full message history.

  • Thread syncing: Agently captures entire email threads, not just single messages.

  • AI content analysis:

    • Detects intent (support, billing, sales, complaints, feedback).

    • Escalates urgent emails.

    • Adds automated tags (e.g., refund request, onboarding question).

  • Email automations:

    • Auto-send acknowledgment messages

    • Schedule follow-ups

    • Route emails to teams

    • Trigger tasks or workflows

  • Outbound emails:
Send replies directly from Agently using your Gmail identity.

With this, email becomes faster, more organized, and far more scalable.

Configure

To connect Gmail:

  1. Authenticate using Google OAuth (personal or Workspace account).

  2. Choose which labels and inboxes should sync into Agently.

  3. Setup rules for:

    • Auto-tagging

    • Auto-routing

    • AI scanning

    • Automated replies

  4. Enable notifications (Slack, internal alerts, or Agently mobile).

  5. Optional: Create templates for quick replies or follow-up sequences.

Once connected, Gmail becomes an intelligent, automated communication channel inside Agently — not just an email inbox.
